All or Nothing

Do you also struggle with the whiplash of ‘all or nothing’?

I will be allll in on a grind, on a sprint, on a Whole 30, on whatever discipline.

But sometimes, I’ll go so hard from a place of resistance that I burn myself out, and then I go the opposite direction.

Sweats and CrunchWraps seem like the best route.

Then I snap out of it and I go hard the other direction.

Back and forth.

Sometimes the phases are prolonged (e.g. I’ll be super healthy for my entire 40s and then backslide HARD for two weeks after I turn 42… this is my real life right now).

But today I had this interesting realization. Instead of going hard at ‘discipline’ maybe it’s time to go hard on putting in systems or asking for help so I don’t burn out the next time.
