Glasses half full
This has been the theme of my last two weeks: How can I keep my glass half full.
And I’m not talking about wine, although now that we are out of “dry February” that’s more of a reality.
I’m talking (even though I really don’t want to) about Coronavirus
Very little of me wanted to acknowledge this pandemic.
I don’t want to use it as an excuse so I certainly don’t want to have it as a centerpiece or a topic. But if you’re anything like me, you probably can’t think of much else.
What can you do today to make this – whatever THIS is – for you.
How can you opt out of panic. Fear mongering. Unnecessary judgement. How can you seek the silver lining in this situation? And how can you make this situation into something beautiful for you, for your family, for you in 10 years?
Be kind to yourself but don’t make excuses. Remember that this is your only life, and there will never ben another March 2020. What is a decision you can make today to be proud of? You can choose to make this into an opportunity or a curse.
You can make it a game or you can lose it all without even playing.
Choose your silver lining. Pour your glass more than half full. Help others do the same.
