Tis the season to be jolly. Or in my case, tis the season to be germy? I have been more careful in the past two weeks than probably the entire rest of the pandemic, and yet, I caught the COVID.
I’ve been living in isolation to make sure I don’t expose my kids anymore than necessary, and I get to come on out on Christmas morning.
These are the five lessons being in isolation (and sick with this super scary disease) has taught me.
- We take WAY too much for granted.
- The antidote to worry is action.
- We are all far more resilient than we give ourselves credit for.
- Be looking for the memory moments, even in shitty situations.
- ACCEPT HELP.
Take a listen and if you find any of these lessons helpful, I’d love to hear all about it in the comments.
