Shrinking problems

Another, perhaps less fun, hack for snapping out of funks is shrinking the problem in front of you.

As in, putting in perspective the thing that has you all worked up, either in the context of shit you’ve handled in the past or things that are going on in the world around you.

This is not the worst thing in the world.

This is probably not even the worst thing that has happened to you.

And if you have faced worse before and survived, this can’t touch you.
